JOHN STANCILL ON HIS SUPER LATE MODEL DEBUT AT SOUTHERN
NATIONAL: "I'm really excited to be working with Chase Pistone
and his crew for this race. I have raced at Kenly many times in
a legend car and a pro-challenge but never in a late model, so
I'm really looking forward to the race. The tract is about an
hour from my home town of Ayden, so a lot of my friends and
family will be coming to the race.
STANCILL'S HOOD WILL SEND A MESSAGE: The hood of Stancill's #20
Chevrolet will feature the Zero Seconds campaign. The Zero
Seconds Program was created to make people aware of leaving
their children unattended in and around cars. "Zero Seconds is
how long you leave a child alone in and around a car" The
summer of 2008 was the deadliest in history for children dying
of being left in a hot car. Missouri based organization,
Harrison's Hope founded the Zero Seconds program and is working
with legislators in several states to raise the level of
awareness regarding children being left alone inside and around
cars.
CHASE PISTONE, CREW CHIEF, ON JOHN STANCILL: We are truly
excited to be working with John as he progresses. My brother
and I have had the pleasure of working with John on many
different things. We helped him win a National Championship in
the Legend Car and I've also set up his Pro-challenge a few
times. We set the track record in a pro-challenge at Hickory
Motor Speedway in qualifying a few years ago. I know John can
drive and I feel good about the car that I put under him. We've
done a lot of work on the #20 and I'm looking forward to seeing
her run.
